Autosurfing: Scam Or Opportunity?

The autosuf industry is relatively new and is often critized as illegal and ponzi. Sure, there are hundreds of autosurf programs out there, and I personally believe that they are scams. Very few people can be certain that one autosurf program around today is going to be around tomorrow. We can only minimize risks by doing careful research, identify trends and breakdowns before entrusting your hard earned money to the void.
Many autosurf programs have proven to be unreliable by the looks of the website and the payment processors they use. These programs often uses scripts that can be easily purchased and often very little customization is done. Autosurf programs that does not use e-gold as the payment processor is doomed to fail right from the start. Why is that so? E-gold has been around for a long time and you cannot cheat or deny once payment is made. It is fast and safe – at least it is as safe as the account payer. Besides, e-gold is universally acceptable and can be exchanged for other digital currencies. A good example of such failure that shook the autosurf industry in Feburary 2006 is the case of 12******** and S****pay. By betting the trust on one single payment processor and dropping e-gold many autosurf owners have silently vanished. Payment via e-gold is attractive because payers are anonymous and good momentums can be picked up very quickly by autosurf owners who do it right. Strong trend is very useful for predicting short term stability and continuity signifies that an autosurf program will not collapsed due to lack of funds for payout.
As one article from the georgia governement neatly summarieze; pyramid schemes never die – they just got evolved. I have heard of highly educated people who staked most of their hard-earned savings on such scams and lost them all. New business models have evolved from taking money from new subscribers and paying expired upgrades, to more advertisement focused programs. Even more recently, payment methods have evolved from e-gold to debit credits where it is questionable as to whether fees can be better controlled and payments are more secured and payment becomes faster. In my opinion, these are just opportunities for money makers. Consumers may end up losing even more money because they will be carrying a lot more useless cards they have purchased when such autosurf program closes.
Enough is now said. Personally, I believe that autosurfing is still a very young industry and it has a lot of potential. There are of course a few honest autosurf program owners around and it will be unfair to blacken this industry just because there are too many black sheeps. Do your own due diligences, stay in touch with forums, study the history of the autosurf programs and then test drive them. Only when you are satisfied with your own study should you invest your money. You should minimize your risk by using only profits you make and risk no more than you can afford in a single investment. After all, you can never research long enough and by the time you put down your money, the program vanishes – and so is your money.
