GoldNow.st: E-gold exchanger review

It seems that e-gold exchangers are coming up and are again in business. Would like to share that I did a successfull exchange from e-gold to western union. This is a short introduction from their site GoldNow.st:

GoldNow (est. 1999) exists to facilitate easy public world wide access to buying (and selling) gold, online. Try it out today! First, register a free account by clicking on the “Set Up Account” link at the left hand side of this page, then place your order!

Did the order on thursday, and they claim to make the exchange in 48 business hours, and was at the right time. Today Monday, they send me the MTCN to pick up in western union and was succesfuly, the amount was $500 USD (minus the fees). Graham the CEO from the company was nice to answer my questions, asking him what is the status of my order. He said that will be 72 business hours, I was afraid when I first read his email. But after few hours (less than 24) the MTCN was in my inbox. As I mentioned I tried with $500.

Before I made an order, I emailed Graham confirming that they are exchanging from e-gold to western union. He confirmed but said that if I will make an order more than $1000 I should tell him first (don’t ask me why).

Some points with the procedure from e-gold to western union:

- Go to GoldNow.st and then Place order —> Sell/Exchange.
- Fill the form with your name, address….
- Account type: is the account that you will use to pay GoldNow. (Account # your e-gold number here)
- Next account type is how you would like to be paid, in this example will take Western Union
- * Pay To Account # is the name of the receiver (your name and last name) you have to add a valid name and last name so you are able to pick up your money in western union.
- Then it said if you selected bank account, press submit (filling the other forms that is not bank) you will then get an error.
- This time you feel in the blank of Bank Account with the word: Western Union or NA (I used western union)
- Then check if you wrote everything correct and submit. You pay them and when you pay save the batch number to verify in the next step.
- You add the batch number, and now wait from 48 business hours to 72 business hours (My experience was approx. 48 business hours).

My experience with them:

Pros:
- fast support
- Not scammers (check the date of this review)
- Paid me on time
- Fees are acceptable 5% from e-gold to western union minus the fees of western union (check your western union office and check how much it cost).
- Contact forms: Phone, Skype, email and others.

Cons”

- The only problem that I encountered is the form from e-gold to western union, that you have to submit first time and then the second time when you fill the form it works.

This is all for now, I will make an exchange in the coming weeks and test them again.
