Egold Security Guide

Scammers and Crackers nowadays are focussing on breaking into other’s egold account to get out their money. This is a short guide to protect yourself.

Suggestions:

- Don’t open any email that contains about “Warning Egold account” or “Egold Urgently” nothing related to this just delete. Remember Egold will NEVER EVER ask you or email you if you did not asked them something.

- Install a firewall, Zonealarm is free and good one. You can choose any personal firewall.

- Antivirus, my recommendation as well as egold recommendation use Kaspersky. (read here)

- Anti Trojan, use any anti-trojan cleaner a well known is “The Cleaner”

- Anti Spyware: Use any antispyware software, my recommendation is “Spybot Search & Destroy”. I heard many good things about “adware”.

- Egold email account. Use a private email account that no one knows about it neither your family (and I’m serious about it). So no one will send you pishing emails/scam emails to login to your egold.
- Private egold account. Use an egold account that is private, don’t use it on HYIP’s, Investment or even to pay (even exchanger’s, nowadays some exchangers are selling their customers database emails to spammers and scammers). Put in that private egold account your “reserve” funds there. If you need to invest use another egold and transfer from your private account to your trading account.

- Don’t use your egold email in forums or any site. Scammers main target to get egold emails users are the HYIP forums.

- Never use the same egold passphrase in other place. If you egold passphrase is XXXX just use it in egold!

- Do not use any application that is not trusted, for example if someone tells you “This software hacks egold” Don’t use it! is bullshit! just a trojan that will heck your life!

- Use FIREFOX as your main browser, forget about IE NOW! (www.mozilla.org)
