E-gold Discussions part II

Date April 27, 2007

Remember the first post that I made about e-gold? E-gold Discussions I.

DrunkOnWorld has published an article about an issue read it here. It seems that the US government wants to fisnish all e-currencies in this industry. What I am sure there is really something behind the scenes.

Update:

With some extra research and trying to contact e-gold about what is happened today I was able to confirm from someone that has a good source that prefers to be anonymous. Please first read this article:
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,131320-c,cybercrime/article.html

They blocked some of the major exchangers which they (FBI) found some illegal transactions as Money Laundering, and soon you will see some changes from e-gold to prevent this issue again and it seems one or some of the following:

(Taken from Anonymous person)

- When you open an account you will have to verify it (Like Paypal)
- E-gold will ban some IP’s Ranges as proxies or Banned countries (Which I believe it is applied right now)
- E-gold will ban the USD currency

there are other points (he said) but he prefers to stop here.

    Vengeance is our Right!

The 1mdc collapse is funny: The chief crook there always told “No problem, e-gold doesn’t even know all my accounts, I am offshore anyway and NO risk for your gold”. We see now the result after the e-gold crooks seized the 1mdc accounts: Millions of USD lost and seized by the US gov.
Look at http://www.gold6.org! This thief wanted “guarantee” our gold even if e-gold collapses! Where is this bastard now?

E-gold of course is offshore, “A Nevis corporation”, whose directors forgot to renew their registration as an offshore company! Offices in the US, servers in the US, company run by US citizens. These bastards KNEW since a few months that the feds were looking at them and what did they do ? NOTHING! Just sit and wait the end! The feds blocked accounts, BUT WHERE IS THE GOLD that backs up these accounts? More than probably still in hands of e-gold!!! As these pederasts blocked Iranian accounts last month, as they blocked today major exchangers’ accounts. They are keeping the gold for themselves.

Now, millions of USD are lost, and I DO HOPE that there will be vengeance NOT on the virtual side. Ray and other bastards are well known, and they MUST pay for the trouble they let happened. I am sure that due to the amounts that are involved, some will care of these bastards!

I will probably be kicked of this list, no problem at all! A website will soon be opened with the photos and identification details, place of living etc, of these scumbags. Free to use!

    [END]

I have to admit that this guy is 100% right! 1mdc was so sure of himself! And e-gold so arrogant with all clients.

Mr Ray could you reply? WHERE IS THE GOLD THAT BACKED THE EGOLD ACCOUNTS THAT ARE NOW BLOCKED? (1mdc accounts are in fact e-gold accounts).

Will you reply, or continue to be so arrogant and consider your clients as sh*t?

Mr 1MDC, what is your reply?

I have just noticed that IceGold’s and 1MDC’s egold accounts are
    closed! This is from 1MDC:

    ATTENTION

    Friday Apr 27 2007 – 4AM UTC

It appears that a U.S. Government court order has forced e-gold(R) to
close down or confiscate all of 1mdc’s accounts. All of 1mdc account’s
have been closed at e-gold by order of the US Government.

Please note that it appears the accounts of a number of the largest
exchangers and largest users of e-gold have also been closed or
confiscated overnight: millions of Euros of gold have been held in
this event. A couple of large exchanger’s accounts have been shutdown.

If the confiscation or court order in the USA is reversed, your e-gold
grams remaining in 1mdc will “unbail” normally to your e-gold account.

We suggest not panicking: more will be known on Monday when there will
be more activity in the courts.

You CAN spend your 1mdc back and fore to other 1mdc accounts. 1mdc is
operating normally within 1mdc. However you should be aware there is
the possibility your e-gold will never be released from e-gold due to
    the court order.

Ultimately e-gold(R) is an entirely USA-based company, owned and
operated by US citizens, so, as e-gold users we must respect the
decisions of US courts and the US authorities regarding the
disposition of e-gold. Even though 1mdc has no connection whstsoever
to the USA, and most 1mdc users are non-USA, e-gold(R) is USA based.

You are welcome to email “team@1mdc.com”, thank you.

When a program I joined last year suddenly changed from e-gold payment to 1mdc, (we were all forced to open a 1mdc account in order to get paid) I did not like it at all. Thanks goodness it was my last payment from that program. And I never touch my 1mdc account again. We were even advised to store our e-gold in 1mdc for safety.

Today I feel sorry for those who take that advise and store their e-gold in 1mdc.

Think about it, if e-gold is in trouble, all the payment processors would be in trouble too, be it Alertpay, 1mdc, STP …………..

Now some programs want to switch to AP or dump e-gold right away (before even knowing what is really happening with e-gold), and some people frantically transfer their e-gold to somewhere else, whether it is a program or another payment processor. In my opinion, everyone is heading to a dead-end road, IF e-gold is going to be gone.

What I would do is do nothing except business as usual with e-gold. When it comes it comes; whatever will be will be.

    P.S.

There is one person whom I would especially like to salute at the time like this.

He is calm, positive, intelligent, smart, quick thinking, logical …………..

He took the time to seek legal advice and conveyed the good message to his members. Business as usual ………………

    He is Jack of Planet-trust.

I would like to share with you my opinion.

E-gold will not be closed. This issue is just to find an Online criminal that has been under research for a long time and it seems that they found some “proofs” in those ecurrency exchangers so nothing to worry. What I am worried is that most of the programs is putting down e-gold as a payment processor.

There is a 10 minute video on YouTube of e-gold’s Dr. Jackson and other testifying before a Congressional Committee in 2006. Discussion is about e-gold and child porn payments. Additional information is also available from the court documents detailing e-gold’s responseto the seizure of about 11 million in gold bullion proceeds of the forced sale.
