Interview with Andy – Former Admin of XLO
February 10, 2007
Before posting this interesting interview, I would like to point out a couple of things. First, this is my first direct contact with Andy. I have sent him a Personal Message in a forum asking for an interview and he responded promptly. Seeing an admin that sticks around after selling a program is something rare in this industry. I believe that the respect Andy shows to others was a key factor in the success of his programs. Second, we are not taking any side in the XLO issue. We just believe that both points of view should be available for the public.
Q. First of all, I would like to thank you for the time you are giving for this interview. Although you are one of the most known people in this industry, would you please introduce yourself to the readers and shed some light on your long experience in this field.
My name is Andrew – but everyone calls me Andy. I am not sure that I am all that well known – certainly XLO – while very successful, was a program that spent a lot of time with hardly anyone knowing about us. However – I suppose my name is a tad more well known now – given recent events.
Regarding experience – I can draw on 7or so years of involvement in the arena – ecurrencies and hyips mainly – this “new area” of autosurfing – I have watched – and as you know – ran a program that paid instantly for over 12 months. …
Q. XLO has lasted for over a year which is something remarkable in the autosurf world. How would you summarize this year of the program’s life?
Interesting would be a good summary. I believe I showed people that many things that are claimed to slow down a program are just that – claims. We went throgh a couple of server moves and audits, and rescripting, all without missing a beat. We paid out instantly. Forums were kept up to date and any issues were addressed and fixed. I have nothing but pride in the way that XLO ran.
Q. Why did you decide to sell XLO? What state was the program in when you sold it? Where there sufficient funds in the program to pay the members?
XLO was in a fine state. Nothing at all wrong with it. Every payout request was honoured. Anyone could have picked that program up – and – given the ability to generate the returns – could run it for as long as they wanted. Why sell? a couple of reasons. I had achieved something remarkable in the autosurf arena – no one has come close to what XLO delivered. I was asked to contact Bob Krimm – we discussed things and then he offered a price for the program. Seemed to me not an unreasonable offer – given he was only asking for the database and domain. I considered it for a few days – I was then told Bob was looking for me. I got a hold of him and the deal was completed. Running a program that requires nurturing can be a drain -physically. Time for me to move on to other things
Q. We realize there is a confidentiality agreement between you and Robert Krimm. But what can you tell us about the negotiations and the deal that was done? Did Robert Krimm check the database before purchasing XLO? Was he informed of the financial obligations involved?
LOLOL – given that you know there is an NDA – you would have to accept that I cannot go into detail. I will confirm Mr Krimm asked about reserves – and was reminded that the price he offered did not include reserves. Re checking the database – Bob had a template – he asked for the structure so his techy people could check it over. Given a database IS the program (effectively) I was not prepared to hand it over before payment was received. Re the last question – Bob never asked – he just said he would take care of everyone.
Q. What parts of XLO did Robert Krimm exactly purchase (database, script…)? Was the program able to continue flawlessly hadn’t it been sold?
The program was able to continue just as it had run had it not been sold. I was of the understanding that the program would have been running long before now. Bob asked for the database and the domain. He has not yet asked the registrar for the domain. The database has been delivered.
Q. What do you think the true problem with XLO is today? Is it really a corrupt database?
There was no problem with XLO. The database is not corrupt…
Q. There have been suspicious events lately, like Robert Krimm sending you a PM early in the morning and complaining minutes later that you did not respond or taking him several weeks to discover that “soem tables were missing”. Do you believe there is a true intention to get the XLO issue resolved?
I don’t think this is suspicious – I think it is silly. The posts eminating from STO were conflicting in their detail – apparently all of the data was lost – only three pages was lost – some was corrupt etc. Had Bob simply dropped me an email I was happy to resend anything he believed to be in error. Grandstanding on forums is not the most effective way to do business without looking like a clown – but I do not have any say in how Bob chooses to operate. Do I believe there is an intention to get things resolved.? hmm The agreement I made with Bob when I sold XLO still stands I believe- and it has to be understood that how Bob chooses to operate is his own affair and not something I could insist he do. I understood XLO woul be running by now – I would hope that Bob fulfills the agreement.
Q. With XLO attracting most of the attention, most people have forgotten about The Finer Things. Can you update us on TFT? What would you like to say to “The Finer Things” members reading this interview?
That all details on TFT are on the forum. It (tft) has left a bad taste with a lot of people… which I do regret. I cannot fix what has happened – and am fully aware that many will be extremely upset with me for ever more. I did not set out to fail – however things do happen. I made some very not good decisions – they cannot be reversed now.
Q. Can we expect to see a new program by Andy in the near future?
Nope – something private perhaps – but generally offered NO.
Q. Based on your long experience, what advice would you give program admins nowadays?
Be aware that your members will turn on you like rabid animals. Do not use a USD based payment processor. Locate outside US boundaries. And finally – communicate.
Q. What do you think of eTalk Network, in general, and eTalkMoney in specific?
Haven’t had much time to look around – but the questions you have asked in this interview have been very well thought out – so if the rest of what you do is as good then you have a great thing going.
Q. Is there anything else you would like to add?
No I think you covered everything.
I would like to thank Andy again for the interview. Any comments are welcomed.

Being a heavy member of TFT and a fairly heavy menber of XLO…I don’t feel rabid….But I could go that way…..Iam just trying to spread the word….Lets keep our mouths shut and simply post, Paid or not paid…Get your first spend out and keep spending..The best we can hope for is that all that are stuck in the site at the end are in profit..If we shut our mouths. These games might last longer…..Note I said GAMES…

A blogger said that it would be nice if admins just say .. “I failed” …which I agree. Surfers are annoyed with Andy because he didn’t tell the truth about TFT BEFORE..I repeat BEFORE its closed down…AND THAT”S THE TRUTH

If XLO was in good shape then why was it shutdown?

Very well put, extremely professional questions and sincere answers, I personally would like to see XLO up and running again…
Thanks for your time preparation and willingness to keep us informed.

[...] ETalk Money has an interview up with Andy, former Admin of XLO. While it covers nothing new, it’s still, in my opinion, a decent interview. [...]

Andy is a liar and a thief. Here’s what he wrote at another forum on December 21st:
“A couple of interesting questions in there and hmm ok lets start with saying that I have a sense of responsibility to the HYIP arena or I wouldn’t be doing this. Having been lied to over years – and watching the lies – and watching people accept being treated as 2nd or 3rd class – this sense of right and wrong was a force behind the program. Of course – 3/4 of the HYIP/As arena hasn’t even heard of me.. they are still off 12ing or 15ing or getting on the latest pay processor etc.
Whether people participate in filth is not my call – we’ve been around and prety visible for some 12 months now and have been studiously overlooked by many many many people. Not sure why..- I might need to call myself Bob – seems Bob’s do pretty well in attracting the masses;) But if people want to play elsewhere I’m not gonna chase them down”
Then on December 26th he wrote:
“Hope you all had a great Christmas.
Business as usual at TFT and XLO – I even managed to get a little bit of a break.
Thanks for the support and patience”
And the next day Andy scammed and lied with this announcement:
“TFT Upadate – MUST READ
« on: December 27, 2006, 11:14:35 PM »
There is going to be a twofold change to TFT.
We have had a few problems with the earning vehicles used for TFT. My sense of why is connected to the recent actions of e-gold and a perceived dropping of confidence in them. Comments by many that e-gold was going to close has added to the general decline. While this is not my position – the way that we used to generate returns has been steadily dropping. Looking for the right alternatives is a daily process.
Steadily dropping returns has meant that some incoming were used to pay existing obligations.
The decline started early December and accelerated throughout the month. This has caused a cash flow issue .
Within the HYIP arena there are such things as private placements – they tend to be “those things you hear about but never actually eventuate.” My reading and research has shown them to be real – but previous to now I have not been able to access one directly.
This has changed over the last little while.
The reality part is that I cannot say a whole lot about it but I can assure you and reassure you that I have done my homework.
This opportunity (high risk though it is) is one that I plan to capitalize on.
The downside – the placement fees are high – we are talking serious money here.
So after much discussion here is what I am going to do.
All available TFT funds are to be diverted to this opportunity. This amount still does not meet the minimum required so the following will happen.
Payouts will stop – for the course of the trade.
TFT incoming spends will go to the placement.
TFT will close on 3 January (1 week)
ALL spends (all existing/outstanding ones + all new ones) will be paid in full as of January 31.
To be clear – no more TFT payouts till Jan 31 then EVERYONE gets paid.
Additionally a place in the forum will be set up for those who wish to participate more directly in the placement. Access to that is going to be at my discretion. I cannot empahise enough that this is a private offer. I cannot and will not dicuss publicly.
Participation will be via e-gold – that doesn’t change.
Maximum amount to invest is under review.
One more thing – once the amount needed to participate is reached all offers will be closed. We will not accept more than we need. Period.
Now this is not a “going private” thing. It is an opportunity to pool funds to participate in a private arrangement.
I also know (extremely well) that this is going to cause some discussion dissention crtiticism etc. I accept that – just as – on opening the program I accepted the responsibility to generate the returns to you in the most efficient manner possible.
To head off queries -the most obvious being could TFT continue – based on the current (right now) trend – No. Could we trade out? I was and am going to try – and this is the option I have decided upon.
Are refunds available – No they aren’t.
I had previously stated that if and when TFT closed everyone would be happy. This closure is sooner than I thought – but I am adjusting to the circumstance.
It is my real belief that although the delay of payout until 30 days may cause some (a lot?) of pain for some, the fact that the program will payout every member in entirety is a plus.
Now the other thing I need to mention. I reckon you have heard this spiel before – I think I have heard things along similar lines. Why should you believe me? To answer that I can only say that I am going into this trade openly and will keep people posted along the way as to progress. I am not closing the forum – nor XLO (which is it’s own distinct program). I am working to provide each and every one of you the return you were after – circumstance has dictated that this will take longer than originally thought.
In closing – I take full responsibility for this decision. I understand that is not going to be popular to all – but it is my thought out and considered opinion that it is the best option for everyone.
Your comments are always welcome.
Andy”

Hi,
A nice interview with Andy but did NOTHING to address what all the members had SUFFERED for trusting him and spend in his programs.
Why sell XLO when it is fine ? Perhaps it was not fine and he needed a reason to dump XLO !
As for TFT, I am really PISSED OFF with him. He said that no one will lose and everyone will be happy with the closure of TFT. See what happened now !
In this interview he said communication with the members is very important. Well this is exactly what he DID NOT do with TFT. There were no update, information and explanation on what happened to TFT.
In plain words, HE IS A LIAR, A LOW-LIFE THIEF WHO HAD SCAMMED ALL OF US !
Proved us wrong by relaunching TFT and restart XLO. Or else just SHUT UP and GET LOST and DON’T WASTE OUR TIME ANYMORE ! !
I think we should just ignore him from now on.

Andy is a lying scamming thief, nothing more nothing less and should rot for the lies told us TFT members!!!
