Q. First of all Introduce yourself

A. My name is Mary Ann but many know me as MA. I am currently working with my business partner, Ivan, who resides in Italy. We operate the following company http://www.goldarea.net a Maltese registered corporation.

Q. What is your position on Gold Area?

A. My position is one of many. I manage client communication, public relations, marketing and verifications of transactions

Q. Could you tell us more about Gold Area? How many people are there in it? Who are they?

A. Gold Area Ltd was formed approximately 3-4 months ago. Its managing director, myself and our programmer currently manage the company.

Q. You said, that Gold Area is a register company, how you can prove your customers that is a register company, and not other “hobbie” over the internet?

A. Our clients are able to contact our managing director, Ivan, personally. They are also able to call me directly with any questions they may have. We have both options of a telephone call or perhaps an email.

Q. Why did you decide to create your own Ecurrency Exchange? Tell us the history of your company

A. As both my business partner and I have had previous experience with this industry, we decided to open this company to assist persons requiring the services we provide.

As our company is an incorporated company there is no actual owner but rather employees. Ivan, is noted on our corporate papers as the Managing Director.

Q. Can you tell us more about your services?

A. Service provided by our company are as follows:

1. Exchange National Currency to an Ecurrency

2. Exchange between any Ecurrencies we offer.

3. Exchange between an Ecurrency to a National Currency

Q. We own a site that is nothing to do about egold, but we offer there some services accepting Egold. They ask us everytime that how they can fund their Egold account. Why you think we can recommend Gold Area and not other Ecurrency Exchanger? What are the benefits?

A. Clients are able to enjoy our referral fee system. It is a small token of appreciation we are able to give them for offering our services to other who may require them.

In order to better serve our clients, we offer various methods of payments for our services. These payment methods are as follows:

1. Credit Card

2. Bank Wire Option

3. Western Union

Q. Can you tell us more about the referral system? How it works? How are the payouts of referral commissions?

A. Our referral commissions are as follows:

A person who wishes to refer our site to others will benefit a payment to their Egold account, shortly after their referee’s transaction has been completed. The referral fees are based on amounts. We will pay a referring client 10% of the service charges applied to the referee’s transaction. In other words, if for example you refer a friend who purchases

1000 usd worth of gold. The service fees on this particular transaction would be 150.00. Therefore 10% of 150.00, 15usd will be paid into an Egold account designated by you. This referral bonus is applied to all transactions regardless of type of purchase ie bank wire or credit card. We will also pay these referral commissions for currency to currency transactions.

Q. As you know there are many people complaining that their Egold accounts have been hacked. How do you protect the funds of Gold Area?

A. Clients should not be concerned with our accounts, but rather to take proper measures to protect their own personal computers. Should we be notified, the account of one of our clients has been compromised, we immediately lock their Gold Area Ltd account to prevent any further damage to this persons’ information. At this time we will report such an incident to the GDCA, of whom we are a member in good standing. For this reason, other marketers involved in this industry are able to monitor exchanges from such an account and hopefully stop the fraudulent transfer from occurring.

Q. Some people said that they got scammed by goldarea.net what you think about it?

A. Each and every new client who visits us, to complete an order, can attest to the fact they have spoken with me by telephone. Each client is called as a final means of verification prior to processing their transaction. As we monitor every new transaction, at times, if we note information changing such as an Egold account number, change of address, any changes, as a means of security for our clients we will call as a verification they are intending to have their transaction completed. Many of our clients are pleased with the services we provide, once they have a better understanding of how we operate and why it is the way we operate. I will gladly explain to our clients exactly what it is we do and why do it.

Once an understanding is met, on behalf of the client, many times I will often hear; Mary Ann, I’m so glad you take the time to call me. I feel much better now knowing you are looking out for my best interests.

Q. As you know, the use of credit card is risky. How is the process of verification? How the anti-fraud system works and what you do for any charge back order after sending the order?

A. We use both internal and external verification systems. Each and every transaction must pass our verification standards, otherwise we do not proceed. As well, each and every order, to purchase with your credit card, must accompany what is known as an “Authorization Form” A client is instructed to print, physically sign and return this form to our offices.

Q. What about Casinotomorrow.com? It is the same design and the same service, is that domain for Gold area?

A. Casinotomorrow is not associated with Gold Area Ltd.

Q. How fast are your services?

A. Transactions are completed 24-48 hours after the verification process has been completed. Not including weekends or holidays. When I speak with our clients via telephone, I will try to remind them of our processing timeframes. It is better they have an understanding of how we operate as opposed to a client being frustrated because they assume we are able to fund a returning client in minutes.

Although we know it is not always possible to budget time, it is to the benefit of the client to place their order 2 days prior to them actually needing their Ecurrency. This way, we are able to proceed in a timely fashion and our clients are able to use their Ecurrencies when needed.

Q. What do you think about eTalkMoney.com ?

A. From what I have viewed, I believe it to be a great service you are offering to many. An informative site everyone can feel welcome. By you providing information necessary for everyone, both the new and well established account holders are able to know someone is taking the time to keep the lines of communication open.

    GoldArea.Net, in my case, collected all the personal information including the scans of identity documents including the front/back of credit card including the CVV number. But they neither sent the e-gold nor replied to the e-mails.

    XXX, as you didn’t show your name and last name. We have talked with one of the staff of GoldArea.net and they said us the reason why was that. And is clearly that you ordered on Weekend? Please confirm if you still didn’t receive your egold.

    hi. I was waiting for a WEEK the order to be cleared. Then I called them and asked about the reason. The lady on phone couldn’t explain me. I asked if they are checking the order to be legal. The lady replyed that now she is concerned about the order to be legal. And still have no money.

    I purchased gold since 8-8-2008, and my payment still pending, I emailed goldarea.net so many times but no reply although I sent everything they need.
    I have doubt that it might be scam or illegal.
