Type: Autosurf
Interview Date: 25/10/2006
Q. Please introduce yourself, and tell us how long you’ve been in the autosurf industry?
A. With pleasure. My name is Martin Pavion. I’m 27 and although I’m English I’ve been living in Bangkok, Thailand for the last 5 years. I’ve been autosurfing for about 2 years now. It didn’t take me long before I saw the potential of it and although I also operate a number of online businesses, I began autosurfing full-time about 6 months after I dipped my toe in the water. I got into the industry when 4Daily was still going quite strong, and although I took quite a break from autosurfing for most of this year I’ve treated autosurfing as something more than just a hobby for about 18 months.
Q. What is your position in 12by12daily?
A. I have been a close friend of Dave Cannard’s since I first began autosurfing. I was extremely excited when he launched 12by12daily although I was overseas for a time when things were just starting up. Dave and I chat nearly daily about the autosurf industry and we have a lot of respect for each other.
When Dave asked me to help him to add a forum to 12by12daily I jumped at the chance. Dave is solely responsible for the 12by12daily member database however I’ve taken responsibility for helping him stay in regular contact with members, helping beginners get started, building up a large community on the forum and solving members problems.
Q. Could you tell us about 12by12daily team? How many people are there in it? Who are they?
A. I guess it seems like sometimes we have nothing but superheros working behind the scenes without revealing our true identity. Dave has invested many thousands of dollars modifying his website to cope with all manner of security threats and for that reason he’s the main workhorse who has to approve all the payments.
We have a very skilled programmer who Dave works closely with and there are a number of support staff who are close friends and family of Dave’s who prepare tasks for processing for Dave to approve. We also get regular help from a couple of other autosurf owners too. The site takes up all of Dave’s time however now that we have payment automation improved and customer response times well-organized we are confident that we’ll have all the resources we will need as the site gets even bigger. Currently we have over 26,000 registered and activated members.
Q. What do you know about Referrals Commissions? Is there a chance that one day we will get paid the referral commissions when our ad package expires?
A. If you have noticed we have whizzed through most of the pending referral payments in the last 5 days alone. This has been brought about by a huge server upgrade that we did last week. Before the upgrade Dave’s work was slowed down during the peak-surfing times because every time he clicked on the ’submit for payment’ button he had to wait a long time. We have also revised our auto-payment system whereby Dave’s job now is just to do a final screening of fraudulent accounts before approving of the payment. The future for all referral payments is looking very good. For many security reasons we have two separate processes for dealing with referrals and upgrades. We are now able to pay monthly and for member like myself the day when all the referral commission arrive in one huge payment is incredible. Last time it happened I couldn’t do any work that day as I was feeling so excited.
Q. What do you think about Dave? If 12by12daily close, what do you think Dave will do?
A. I sleep soundly every night because of Dave. Even when the entire autosurf industry collapsed after 12DailyPro (at the beginning of 2006), Dave was still online every day. He was not looking to run away like all the other autosurf owners although if he had done he would be living a very comfortable life now. What I admire most about Dave Cannard is that he treats the money that is brought to 12by12Daily as his members money, not his. I’ve not yet met Dave although we speak often. I plan to emigrate to Australia next year after my fiance and I are married and I’m really looking forward to meeting the industry legend in the flesh early next year.
You asked about if 12by12daily were to close … one thing I know is that Dave would not run away. I am confident enough with that that I personally have $12,000 in 12by12daily ($6,000 maximum and then I add another $6,000 as soon as it expires before I am paid); my fiance also does the same, as do my parents.
Dave has had many opportunities to run away in the past, and as tempting as it must be, I don’t think Dave could live with himself to even consider it. Dave is a man of integrity, and that why 12by12Daily grew so fast – his many fans rushed in to join as soon as Dave announced the new site. I also have a very strong understanding of Dave’s business model and that is the reason I’m such a heavy investor. I know a lot about the behind-the-scenes work needed when running an autosurf and I see the site being around for a long time to come.
Q. You know that nowadays people are afraid about autosurfs, how can you explain this and tell people to trust 12by12daily?
A. I’ve written two large articles about this and I’d love to help people understand why they’ve been constantly flushing money down the toilet this year. The autosurf industry is very cyclical. What needs to happen is we need to have 1 huge company in the middle of everything that is going strong … I call these the “Autosurf Leaders” and these companies are the ones responsible for the entire industry … In the past there have been two other leaders … 4Daily and 12DailyPro.
We were very fortunate that when 4Daily closed it was quickly and seamlessly replaced by 12DailyPro and people hardly noticed any change in the industry … it was easy to see that when 12DailyPro was so strong, every other autosurf was strong too. Industry ‘experts’ came out with theories about how you could make money … most said that we should all diversify, that we should conduct due-diligence etc. it is difficult to lose money in the autosurf industry when there is a clear autosurf leader, because, whilst that autosurf leader is going strong, all the other Autosurfs feed from it (I call these the autosurf leeches). When 12DailyPro came to an end at the beginning of 2006, people were investing in every autosurf company that came out before a clear autosurf leader was established. They believed in the strategies the old experts were using and - nearly everybody - including these experts, lost all their money. I am so confident that 12by12Daily is now an established autosurf leader that I’ve been making personal guarantees to many of my downline that it is impossible for them to come out at a loss.
Q. 12by12Daily now is the biggest autosurf in this industry. Do you think it will last long?
A. Certainly. I spent a lot of time with Dave, before, during and after 12by12Daily was set up. I have a strong understanding of how he operates and … as boring as it may seem I’ve taken a lot of time to really studying every word on his terms and conditions page to see if I can foresee any problems. We know that 12DailyPro - the previous autosurf leader, thrived for 8 months before being closed for legal reasons. 12DailyPro perhaps got a bit too big for its boots. It was a mistake to operate from the USA and they got complacent with their legal definitions. I am confident that 12by12daily can outlast 12DailyPro. The finances of 12by12Daily are sound, the cash-flow is well-managed and Dave always inspires me with confidence when we talk about growth and development. We are not growing as fast as 12DailyPro which is very good. Our growth is much more steady and for this reason, it is also more sustainable.
Q. We know that you published some e-books; can you talk about your new projects or/and e-books?
A. Yes certainly. At the end of 2005 I wrote a series of autosurfing e-books which I planned to launch as “The Autosurf Bible, parts 1,2,3 - 10″. When I began to administer the 12by12Daily forum I though that I would help the members understand a little more about the industry by providing them with the first of these e-books. I got some very positive feedback from them but a few weeks ago I realized just how much the autosurf industry had changed. The most significant changes in my opinion are that we no longer have these 1% sites, paying 1% a day for a year, due-diligence does not work at all, and diversification is no longer a good strategy to take. In light of this I completely re-wrote my e-book, bringing into it some more academic theories of how the autosurf industry really works and adding much more detail …. The e-book is now called “The Complete Guide to Autosurfing”. I plan to sell this e-book but until I get things formalized I’m giving it away free to the people I think will benefit most from it. Anybody interested is welcome to download it from here …
http://www.autosurfbible.com/ebooks/autosurfing.pdf
I also launched ‘The Autosurf Bible’ website last week. There are so many ‘autosurf information’ websites around which are set up by inexperienced webmasters who are solely trying to build their downline. My site is very different from this. I’m not going to be recommending the ‘autosurf of the week’ in the hope of getting a downline for it. Instead the site will be dedicated to helping people learn about the industry themselves, building their downlines, and, most importantly - I want to encourage people to use the money they are making to get out of autosurfing! So many people I speak with have had a miserable 2006 since they lost their funds when 12DailyPro collapsed and it’s very important to use the money you make when the industry is strong to make money for you elsewhere.
Q. What do you think about eTalkMoney.com, and eTalk Network in general?
A. Actually I’m amazed at how big you’ve grown. I’d passively been to visit your site some months ago but never really considered you as mainstream as some of your competitors. What’s really impressed me since though is how high you seem to be ranking for google and yahoo when I’m conducting research myself. I know how hard it is to get ranked high for ‘12by12daily’ (I’m a few places below you in the rankings) and I have a lot of respect for your marketing team.
One thing, which drives me crazy, is when I come across an autosurf information site that is weeks out of date. You guys seem to work really hard to keep the news current and you have a lot of refreshing variety with your topics. You deserve to do well.

Hi,
I read the inerview and I was/am very impressed with the way Martin explained things. Although I personally don’t know Dave I know I have been paid on time for the last 3+ months and have received my referral commisions also. There is only good to be said about 12by12Daily and the way the site is run. Plus Martin built up the forum to over 3200 members.

I’m one of those people who thought diversification was the only way, and got burned. I am now putting most of my funds into 12by12, and I will use a portion of the profits (after I max out) into other well-regarded sites, and cash out the rest. If 12×12 goes down I will be really screwed, but I just don’t think that will happen.
I’ve also read a couple of Martin’s ebooks; they’re extremely useful (although he could use a proofreader).
I like the questions you asked in the interview; they were tough, and addressed the concerns we all have, and I think Martin handled them well. Good job.

Martin said: “I call these the “Autosurf Leaders” and these companies are the ones responsible for the entire industry … In the past there have been two other leaders … 4Daily and 12DailyPro.”
Although most of Martins comments are good and he seems to be helping people, it’s funny he didn’t even mention the FIRST and LARGEST autosurf that started it all, STUDIO TRAFFIC. Weren’t they in business and paying for 2 Years!!!! 4Daily was just a drop in the bucket, never would consider THAT program a “leader”. LOL

My name is Frederick Mann and I’ve sponsored
over 300 people into each of 12×12D and XLO.
Early next week, I plan to apply “Total
Exposure Marketing” (TEM) to automatically
help build 12×12D and XLO member downlines.
If you’re interested in having TEM help to
automatically build your 12×12D and/or XLO
downlines, contact me via my email address.
(When I last applied TEM to 12DP, over 400
new people were added by TEM to 12DP member
downlines.)

“it’s funny he didn’t even mention the FIRST and LARGEST autosurf that started it all, STUDIO TRAFFIC”
If you see my definition of the Industry Leader in my e-book (or in the interview) you’ll realize that StudioTraffic is NOT an industry leader. Sure it was a good company and set a lot of precedents but no other autosurf (autosurf leeches) would have offered 1% a day and invested their members funds into ST because they’d not profit from that.
The Autosurf Leader - to put it simply, doesn’t need to be an especially great company, they just have to offer a rate of return that other autosurfs can invest their funds there whilst offering their own members a bit less.
I hope that clarifies things for you.
Regards
Martin

Martin - On 19th Dec., 2006 12by12daily.net is closed, How much money did you get from David (the admin of 12by12daily.net) for posting the Bullshit positive reviews of this ponzi site which accordingly to you was run by honest admin. It didn’t even last for even 6 months.
How did you predicted that it will last for a long time? Oh!, you got your share and thats why. You also knew that what was happening behind the scenes but you only wanted to make money from the naive people who doesn’t know how cheaters like you make money by making David, a cheater, a man of integrity.
Hasn’t David run with the 12by12daily members money?
Can you now return the 12y12daily members money as you boasted a lot about the admin - David.
People like you have no conscience and lot of people got cheated because of your postive review here at this site for a ponzi site. But since you have got your part of money, does anything matters to You? You are definitely responsible as You gave false reviews about this ponzi site. But since you were getting paid for referral commissions, you tried everything what you could do to make a ponzi a honest site.
Happy christmas and pls. find some other ways now to cheat people like you did by promoting a ponzi site like 12by12daily which is now closed.
You are a SCAMMER MARTIN
December 21st, 2006 at 6:01 pm
Well I guess with your handle you’re not looking for a balanced argument but I’ll do my best to leave my final words on this page.
“How much money did you get from David (the admin of 12by12daily.net)”
I didn’t get paid anything for this. The interview was a great opportunity to introduce myself to the members of etalkmoney, and to give people a more academic insight into the industry than most people are used to.
“How did you predicted that it will last for a long time?”
In the same way that most people do I guess. It is a combination of many things but at the time of the interview member confidence was high, administration was fine, payouts were consistently on time and there was no cause for concern.
A prediction is merely that, it’s not a rule and it’s based on current facts.
“You also knew that what was happening behind the scenes”
Certainly I knew everything happening in the forum. That was my role. You will remember that the forum ran efficiently, with balanced arguments and minimal troubles. As the boat started to shake I took it upon myself to upgrade the forum and to hunt Dave down for daily updates. Unfortunately however people get hung up trying to shoot the messenger. I don’t see that as my problem, but as yours.
“you only wanted to make money from the naive people”
You are referring to yourself I assume? I don’t know you enough to call you naive, but I would, at first impression label you as financially immature. I say this as you enter a high-risk, high-reward investment and you lose out, that’s how HYIPs and autosurfs work. You would not be psoting here if you won, and I’m pretty sure you’d not be sharing your winnings around with people who lose. If you bet on a horse race and lose, you don’t run back to the bookmaker screaming you’ve been scammed (do you?).
“Hasn’t David run with the 12by12daily members money?”
I don’t believe so. Take some time to consider the business model. There is no opportunity to skim from the top. When an autosurf closes it does so in a mess and with no money. If you expect happy endings then yes you certainly are naive.
“Can you now return the 12y12daily members money as you boasted a lot about the admin - David.”
Why would I? I invested in 12by12Daily because I trusted Dave. Did you invest your money in 12by12Daily because a 27 year old whom you’ve never heard of before says he’s invested because he trusts Dave? I’d very much lkie to think that you put a little more thought into things than that.
“lot of people got cheated because of your postive review here”
Lots of people lost money because they invested in a high-paying, high-risk opportunity. People feel slighted when they don’t win and they will spend much of their life finding people to blame for their regrets.
“You gave false reviews”
I’ve re-read every word and I stick by it. I was not giving a review, I was giving my opinion. If I were to tell you that my kid brother’s company was set to become the next Microsoft I’d hope that you’d have the reasoning-capacity to not take it as gospel.
“promoting a ponzi site like 12by12daily which is now closed”
… and how do YOU believe autosurfs work?
“You are a SCAMMER MARTIN”
I’m flattered you believe me to hold that much power. Are you basing your reasoning on the fact that I gave my opinion in an interview? or by the fact that I held the forum together? In reality though I am more confident thinking you are a bitter loser. Somebody who plays a game yet screams and cries when he loses. Somebody who makes a mistake and looks for somebody to blame, and, when he can’t find a scapegoat he decides instead to find the next available target.
You have my final words on that. I’m certain there will be more to come from you but I am somebody who takes responsibility for my life and I plan to move forward.
I wish you luck, a patient counselor and a lesson in growing up.
Best wishes,
Martin

Great reply Martin. People think that these Auto-Surfs/HYIP’s are a guaranteed thing.
Read the Terms, you are purchasing Advertising and NOTHING MORE!!! My brother was in this program, he came out on top this time as did we with 12DP.
