What is Going on?

Date January 6, 2007

By looking at the first week of January, I can say that this year is going to be really exciting in terms of the huge number of events occuring daily. It is time to check what has been going on in the past two days.

  • Blue Heaven Mails:
After a sudden close of the program, the admin might be coming back. Members are once again receiving their daily emails, although there are no links to click. Ben has also sent an update announcing that the program will be back with refunds. Here is the update:

    Hello Everyone,

Right now we are in the process of making a list of the members who are in loss at BHM. Refunds will be issued to them once we re-launch Blue Heaven Mails which should be done in one week from now. Currents members database will not be deleted but positions will be deleted only after we confirm the refund amount with each one of you. Have faith in us!

There are still lots of questions and speculations on the reasons behind the sudden disappearnce of the program. Ben has to work hard now on rebuilding the investors’ trust.

  • Total Shares:
After being able to get over the server problems, the admin has decided to relaunch the program. This is the update:

Dear members: Yes, the site is back up and my programmer has come online too.
After few hours of discussion, we found that still have many data (at least 400-500) need to be updated. Not only that, the host now is for temporary which is not the type I want it to be (My major host: v6-server. went down and I have to look for temporary host to get the site up). I still need time to get a better host.

Therefore, instead of letting all of you waiting, I plan to do refund to all of you and I will probably pick another date for a new re-launch.

The refund is already started and I try to give everyone a full refund so that no one will loose here.

    Thank you everyone!

I have checked on this, and members have already started to receive the refunds. Before the problem appeared, I have to admit that I was impressed by the performance of the program as they were able to keep the ROI relatively high. I wish them good luck with the relaunch.

  • GHPi:
This is a HYIP program that has decided to open their own payment processor, GHP cash. It is still in the testing stage. As mentioned on their main site, it is totally free. There are no funding fees and no maintenace fees. Is this good news? Personally, I do not like such approaches. We all remember how most of the programs that had their own payment processors ended. However, we always have to hope for the best.
  • KingOfProfitShare:
There is a total mess here. One would enjoy his time reading through the thread. Actually, 12 hours after the launch of the program, problems appeared. First, it was server problems. Then the admin claimed she is not recieving the PIN from egold. Of course members pushed her into calling egold to get the problem solved. However, to her bad luck, egold did not answer her phone calls.

Then, the admin, SweetGirl, decided to relaunch her profit sharing program. Of course more problems appeared. She announced that her programmer is TheSteveB, who you all still remember from the recent big scam, The Next Big Thing. She claims he has not given her access to the admin panel!! Then she says that he refuses to allow her to relaunch unless she gives him the new passwords which she is refusing to do. The good part in this is that she is saying he did not steal the money from the egold account.

Some more spices are added to the story with the admin saying that TheSteveB has created a new username in MoneMakerGroup as “SweetGirl0f19Years”, i.e. with a zero in place of the “O” as to fool her members into depositing their money into a new egold account for him to steal!! She adds that she has asked MoneyMakerGroup admins to ban this new username.

Of course, SweetGirl’ss programs should not be considered as investment opportunites. Hiowever, her threads are the destination if you are seeking some entertainment. Besides, the coming days might reveal some more secrests and some additional fraud activities of the scammers behind The Next Big Thing. More importantly, the coming days will definitely reveal the true intentions of SweetGirl. I hope all those who invested in her program will be able to get their money back.

  • GCard:
Here is some sad news. Gcard will stop the card program because the issuing bank is winding down its card program. This card has been a reliable fast method to withdraw your money. However, the good news is that another card will be launched soon. We have to hope the replacement will be as good as the original one. This is the update:

    Dear Cardholder,

We regret to inform you that all current card programs sponsored by
CU-Connect and North York Community Credit Union (our issuing bank) are
being wound down on a step-by-step basis. Unfortunately this includes all
    current gCards.

A copy of the Initial Order and other materials filed with respect to
the CCAA proceeding is available on the website of KPMG Inc., the
    Court-appointed monitor of CU-Connect, at www.kpmg.ca/cu-connect.

The initial step is that as of 2:00 p.m. EST on January 5, 2007, no new
card activations and no new loads will be permitted. THIS INCLUDES ALL
LOAD OPTIONS AND ALL CARD CARD-TO-CARD TRANSFERS.
All loads received after this deadline will be returned to its
remitter, cost of return will be charged to the remitter.

All cardholders will be able to process ATM withdrawals until a time
period not defined yet (probably 30 days from today) and continue to
access to their online banking at https://bank.mygcard.com . If cardholders
cannot fully withdraw their funds within the allotted time period, we
will work to ensure that the issuing bank will return all balances
    directly to the cardholders.

Unfortunately we received this announcement from CardOne Plus (the
    banking
platform) only today, and were not able to inform you before. We are
surprised at the short notice, and are sorry for the inconvenience
    caused.

We are in the process of launching a new card which is scheduled to be
available by the end of January/beginning of February, 2007. At this
time we will replace your current gCard by a new one.

    Sincerely,
    gCard Team
