14dailyGold: May be a good bye kiss
May 24, 2006
I don’t like when an autosurf start making excuses each day with someting new like “we are fixing the problem” and then “our technician”.
Jason the admin of 14dailyGold posted this:
Hello everyone,
Our new technician has just found out that our server has been under attack from an undetected source. We were unable to find this out earlier because the attacks were invisible. This sort of attack is very rare and we are unfortunate to become a victim of it. Our technician is now working on installing a new security patch to be able to detect and stop this attack and detect and stop any attacks in the future. As soon as I know more I will update.
Jason
Then a good reply from Mazzie posted this:
Thanks so much for the update Jason, but this update is just a little confusing. Invisible attacks, never heard that one before, but hey what the heck.
You say once again that; “Our technician is now working on installing a new security patch to be able to detect and stop this attack and detect and stop any attacks in the future.” However on May 19th in your post # 2106 you said at that time, “We are busy lately with improving security and making sure that everything is coninuing to run smoothly.” And again on May 23rd in your post # 2842 you once more said, “They are now working on adding security features to the server to help stop these attacks.”
Just wondering when exactly they did start to work on adding the security features and if it was back on the 19th and they haven’t done it by now, then perhaps you should be looking for a new web site host as this one obviosuly doesn’t seem to be doing anything very quickly for you. Especially as you also say in the same post # 2842, “We apologize for the delay, our hosts have been slow in getting back to us and have been busy trying to fix the problem.”
I am sure that you yourself are perhaps trying to do everything you can and your hands may be tied with having such a lousy web hosting Company, but then if this is the case, one wonders why you haven’t told them to take a short walk off a long pier!
I myself am a reseller for a web site hosting Company and if they took this long to fix all the issues that you appear to be having here, they would be out of business by now.
Before anyone thinks I am bashing Jason, please read my post properly. What I am actually saying is that his hosting company sounds like crap to me and perhaps he should change it.
Good Luck with getting this sorted out Jason, it seems you may need it.

Posting this in a thread program is not batching the admin but saying what is really going on. I mean check that we don’t have proofs about securities being implemented, check other autosurf’s having the same problem and they solve it maximum in 24 hours.
That’s true about an undetected source is called RootKit, a rootkit acts like a trojan in a server where the attacker can manage to do what they want. But there are many anti-rootkits over the net so I think something fishy is going on here… (My toughts? Respect it)
